Returning to Readiness: USS Blue Ridge Marks Major Maintenance Milestone

YOKOSUKA, Japan - 180427-N-YM543-062 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Apr. 27, 2018) - Capt. Brett Crozier, commanding officer of U.S. 7th Fleet Flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), discards his hard hat as the ship reaches its Propulsion Plant Production Completion (PCD) date. PCD marks the completion of all major maintenance aboard the ship. Blue Ridge and her crew have now entered a final upkeep and training phase in preparation to become fully mission capable for operations.
