YOKOSUKA, Japan - 181207-N-YG414-263 ONBOARD USS BLUE RIDGE (Dec. 7, 2018) - Chief Hospital Corpsman Jeremiah Zapanta, attached to U.S. 7th Fleet Flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), helps his daughter dress out in fire fighting protective gear during the ship's first Family Day Cruise in three years. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy, and as 7th Fleet command ship, is responsible for patrolling and fostering relationships within the Indo-Asia Pacific Region.
