HSC-25 evacuates cruise passenger, fights fire on Nimitz Hill

SANTA RITA, Guam - 190328-N-LN093-1356 SANTA RITA, Guam (March 28, 2019) An MH-60S helicopter, attached to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, takes off after replenishing a Bambi bucket to help extinguish a grass fire near Nimitz Hill. HSC-25 worked alongside first responders from Joint Region Marianas Fire and Emergency Services and the Guam Fire Department to extinguish a fire near Nimitz Hill. HSC-25 provides a multi-mission rotary wing capability for units in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations and maintains a Guam-based 24-hour search-and-rescue and medical evacuation capability, directly supporting U.S. Coast Guard and Joint Region Marianas.
